victory in the swamp and defensive depth chart

A reader of mine was right, in stating that defense does win championships. And despite my talented skill position guys, its been my D that has put through tough games. I haven't had time to play because I spent the last couple days in a million dollar lodge in Whistler with some cool peeps and had a friend from PITT in for a visit. I got in a quick game before we left for Whistler against a 4-0 #24 Florida team in the swamp and Bama came out with a 25-17 victory. Josh Reese ran for 92 yards and 2 TDs, while SO QB Terrance Graves is playing the video game Bama version of Tim Tebow as he was only in for about 7 snaps but ran 3 times for 44 yards and the game winning TD. But what was key in this game was the defensive depth. The Gators had long drives which meant that many of my subs got P/T (my sub out is set at 79 while sub in is at 72). True FR Chris Battle had a critical sack in the early 4th quarter which killed all momentum for the Gators. Big matchup next at the Horseshoe as #10 Bama faces #7 Ohio St, in Josh Reese's homecoming to his old school. I'm hooked on Veronica Mars right now, so I'll probably play this game tomorrow night
